On the originality of the origin in the original (a Heidegger fugue)

The text elaborates on the Heidegger’s ek-sistential idea of the origin as an alternative of the philosophical demands for principles and consistent systematic expositions. The contraposition is exercised as a cognitive and hermeneutic confrontation between the formal-rational and historical-being thinking. The first is a millennial metaphysical tradition. The second is a Heidegger’s design rooted into the truth of Seyn. The hermeneutic interplay of the two origins has a phenomenological fugue structure which grows on the destruction of the corps of the European metaphysics. The fugue starts with a clear exposition, the counterpoints gradually intertwine in a multiple intermedia and finally the polyphony culminates in silence. As though philosophy listens to the picture of Edvard Munch The Scream and construes its sense in the language of its hues.
Key words: Heidegger, origin, Seyn, historical-being thinking, fugue, silence.

“Duty, Freedom and Justice – the Unachievable Balance. Libertas contra Ethicon”

Postmodernism forces us to reconsider our traditional views. Fundamental are the ones concerning the new ethical reading of what is categorical in ethics. Without rethinking the ideas of freedom and justice, today’s society will not be able to overcome the challenges of mass involvement, collective opportunism and misunderstood solidarity. It is precisely the criticism and rehabilitation of ideals that would help eliminate the delusions that have become the model of modern man.
By intertwining the classical and modern readings of what is originally meant by duty, freedom and justice, the exhibition does not aim to analyse their nature, but only identify the reasons for the existing opposition between freedom and ethics, most clearly manifested in the political role of the subject and the state as an artefact.

UNTIMELY ARGONAUTICA

The article is debating upon the problems that were revealed during the process of online acting education. Provoked by the circumstances we were challenged to deal with unexpected loss of familiar surface, the distortion of the ordinary work rhythm and the displacement of the focus upon the nonverbal acting exercises, so otherwise motivating in the first year of education. We dared to make an experiment based on the mythological theme of “Jason and the Argonauts”. The students created their own contemporary monologues for an online performance. The task was to go in the depths of emotional memory and the fine texture of theatrical worlds. The conclusions from this work are that we should challenge the imaginative awareness of the students and that is necessary to have an individual approach towards each actor. By challenging their potential we were able to develop acting skills in front of the cameras. To keep their motivation, so fragile in such confused time, their unique creations, one way or another, should meet an audience. In collaboration with students in the film arts, when the chance presented itself, a few short movie pieces were produced. We went to this untimely journey into the virtual void unprepared but inspired, facing the crisis and confronting its impact with artistic sensibility.

The previous failure to agree on governments, and the lengthening of their formation for months, was to reopen the debate about the nature of the Lebanese system and the need for serious constitutional amendments towards expanded decentralization or a new electoral law.
