Виртуализацията и фантомите на информационното общество

Virtualization is the replacement of real objects and actions by images and communications. Traditional institutions prescribe doing real things and real actions but people instead operate with virtual objects – images that make social institutions a kind of virtual reality. Political parties and other organizations lose their role in the struggle for power while virtual political power – image of candidates - becomes critically important. Capitalism and alter-social movements do not restore authenticity against imagery but find value in fluid authenticity.

Развитие на дигиталната компетентност у студентите

The investment in the "human capital" through the provision of a better education and development of skills and competencies corresponding to the new demands of the knowledge-based society and economy has been highlighted as one of the important priorities for Europe in the 21st century.
This paper discusses issues related to the effective use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the learning process, and the need to encourage and develop the information and digital literacy of students. The author focuses on the role of the new basic skills and competencies for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process of students and their adaptation to the requirements of the global and dynamic labor market.
The paper also includes an empirical component relating to studying the extent of the use of digital technologies by students at Southwest University, their level of acquiring necessary skills and competencies, and their motivation to increase their level of digital literacy in order to meet the constantly changing requirements of work and life in the digital society .

Аспекти на киберсигурността в комуникационното общество

В статията се обосновава тезата, че проблемите на киберсигурността са едни от най-важните проблеми на съвременнния свят. На основата на схващането на киберсигурността като постигането на такова състояние на обществото, при което то ще може да предотврати и отрази заплахите и да осигури превъзходство в изграждането и функционирането на виртуалното (кибер) пространството, се очертават главните аспекти, съдържанието и механизмите на киберсигурността на комуникационното общество.

The paper defends the argument that the problem of the cybersecurity is one of the most important problems of the contemporary world. Cybersecurity is defined as the possibility of a society to prevent and reject the threats in cyberspace. On this basis the main aspects, the nature and the mechanisms of the cybersecurity in the communication society could be identified.

Теорията на съзнанието на Аристотел Гаврилов – принос и противоречия

The purpose of this article is to examine the contribution of Aristotel Gavrilov, a representative of antirepresentationalism (or presentationism, in the terminology of the Bulgarian philosophical tradition). The significance of this contribution is determined not only by the fact that it is an original attempt to formulate an extended philosophical concept of the nature of consciousness but also an exceptional opportunity to explicate the main methodological shortcomings in solving the subject – object relations in the traditions both of the presentationism approach and the representationalism.

Религиозното тяло и ислямският дрес код

The human body is one of the main resources of religions as they practice em-bodiment of their spiritual aspirations. This paper makes a comparative analysis of expressions of religious believes through bodily signs (prayer-habits, dietary regimen, sleep deprivation, sexual abstinence, etc). The focus of the analysis is one of the manifestations of these religious bodily signs, especially in Islamic cultures - the control of the body through clothing. The Islamic dress code is seen as a manifestation of religious obligation, commitment to the religious community, gender status expression, sexual protection, and personal choice.

“Живата метафора” на Рикьор като възможност за ново описване на реалността

The subject of this article is the notion of metaphor, used by Ricœur in the context of figure of speech, which taken out of the field of poetry and introduced to the language of philosophy, would facilitate overcoming the difficulties arising from the language of classical metaphysics. The idea of the metaphor aims at ending the dominating understanding of correspondence between reality and thinking. The metaphor represents the unity of reason and action.

The text briefly revises the etymological and the philosophical uses of the term "virtual". Virtual space and virtual time are the key components for the aesthetics of Susanne Langer in making the idea of a work of art both a symbol and a virtual object, where the audience gains an experience of the primordial nature. In the understanding of the conceptual feeling originating from the philosophy of Alfred North Whitehead lies the key to the possibility of infinite interpretation of the eternal categories from the field of ethics and morality.

За същността на иманентните и трансцедентни обекти във феноменологията на Едмунд Хусерл

The article analyzes the early work (before 1913) of Edmund Husserl. The main topic is the specifics of the immanent and transcendent objects. The immanent are seen as related to the consciousness and the analysis of essences. The transcendent – as incomplete and external from the consciousness'es view. The article also shows how Husserl overcomes the classical interpretations of image. The analysis is historically philosophical. It interprets Husserl's work through Wundt's and Brentano's psychological point of view.
